Neighbourhood: Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ideal Beacon Hill gift shop! Loved the store and the staff were friendly. I work in retail so we chatted about business which was nice not everyone who works retail likes to talk about it. Had some great Boston things we didn't see anywhere else. Truly lovely! Stop in.

I always make a point to stop here on a trip. It's very close to the Public Garden, Esplanade, and MGH...in the heart of Beacon Hill on Charles Street. The shop is not large; however, the selection of items for sale are vast and varied. They have everything from coasters to candles, cheater glasses to champagne glasses. I am always taken at how well the selection is assembled and the reasonable prices. The ladies who work in the shop are so kind and outgoing; unlike a few other shops in close vicinity to this one. One of my favorite items is the travertine coasters; though, I opted to ship them home instead of carrying them. I mean, they're ROCK...lol. The lady couldn't have been nicer making arrangements. This is a shining example of a local business in Beacon Hill that you want to support.

Small business shop - on the small side but packed with a variety of goods, much of it locally made.

You can find lots of hand crafted / unique souvenirs as well as everyday products for the locals.

Service is also attentive and courteous.
