This was a fun thing to do. I can't believe I never tried this before. It was fun to go around the pond and see the ducks and swans and the people. I recommend doing it once.

The swan boats were available through our Go Boston tickets. Children love the boats and adults get to enjoy the beautiful views. We were impressed that these are the original swan boats from the 1800’s and that they are completely powered by humans pedaling!

Out of town guests were my excuse to visit one of the most charming places in Boston: the historic swan boats in the Public Garden. Absolutely one of the nicest things to do in the city, good for anyone and everyone.

Definitely cute for young kids. 12 minutes on the boat. Wouldn't miss it if you didn't do it. Literally just make a circle in the pond/lake.

The Swan Boats are part of Boston history and if you have the chance to ride one - don’t pass it up! The ride around the pond takes about 15 minutes. There is not a narrated tour so it’s an opportunity to just relax and...More

This is a definite tourist activity but we found it nice and relaxing. Perfect for families with young kids. Ride lasts about 10-15 minutes.
