While I was visiting my daughter in Boston she decided to take me to this place. Great spot to stop by for dinner and drinks! Definitely a little pricey but the view is amazing. Would recommend to people visiting the city.

If you fancy a nice beer or cocktail with a great view over Boston then this is the place. We didn't eat but enjoyed a few relaxing drinks as the sun went down. It is expensive but no more so than other city centre bars. The barmaid was really friendly and helped choose some different choices of local beers. Nice... More

Stop by for a few drinks or food as everything is good here. Much better than paying the fee for the skywalk as you get the same view with no fee & good drinks/ food. 360 degree view of city.

We stopped in to have a drink and see the amazing view of the entire city. They could use some work on customer service. The host / hostess were rather busy in conversation so took awhile to acknowledge us, and when they did the host gave us the impression we were inconveniencing them. The room was practically empty at the... More

The view was really amazing and we were lucky to have a clear weather as well! The food was really really tasteful, except for the desert (a cake with coconut ice cream) that we didn't really like. The menu was a bit overpriced though. We really enjoyed our evening there. Totally recommended either for a drink or lunch/dinner.

We came here for a drink before dinner so I can't comment on the food but you really do get a stunning view of Boston from the 52nd floor of the Prudential Tower. We just had a drink each and paid about $25. You can't book in the drinks area so worth getting here early - there was a queue... More

We went during a snowy evening in Boston which was the only reason there were any tables available. It was okay - we only went for drinks ($24 minimum per person. It was beautiful overlooking Boston but I'm thinking that paying $16 to go on the skywalk would be cheaper and more fun. I'll save that for our next visit!... More

Went for the views, stayed all night. Got a table right by the windows for drinks overlooking the city. The band playing added to the upscale ambiance and our group had an absolute blast. Great wine selection, fast bartenders, great vibe. Spectacular views. Will be back!

First trip to Boston and we decided to try Top of the Hub and it was amazing. The bar was packed with lots of fun loving happy people and the restaurant was beautiful. The food was great and the service was very good. I would return the net time I am in Boston...

The service was great with a nice, friendly waiter, but food was rather lacking. My uncle had the swordfish which was overcooked, and I had the cioppino which was fairly bland and had mostly fish with only one clam, one mussel, and one shrimp. The view can't be beat, but save your food-dollars for elsewhere.

Staying in Back Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Back Bay
Wander around this quintessential neighborhood in the heart of Boston for high-end shops, restaurants, and the feeling of city bustle. Its most identifiable skyscrapers, the Prudential Center and John Hancock Tower, are highlights of the city skyline. Visit Newbury street to explore unique and trendy boutiques – as well as every other kind of store imaginable – all housed in beautiful brownstone buildings. In nice weather, restaurant patio seating is packed with Bostonians and tourists alike soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the food. Commonwealth Ave offers a beautiful stroll down residential tree-lined streets. Keep walking towards the Charles River and enjoy a beautiful view by the water. In warmer months, people run and bike on paths running along the esplanade, and sail and kayak on the Charles River. Boylston street, also full of shops, bars, and restaurants, is the finish line of the Boston Marathon. Head towards Copley Square and check out the Boston Public Library, which is particularly beautiful from the Dartmouth street entrance.
