If you love ancient construction!

Walking through the most ancient road, you feel so wonderful! We were all four members of our family. And may call a great union memory of ours in Boston.

I was only in Boston for an afternoon and deliberately sought this place out for it's reputation as the prettiest street in Boston. It did not disappoint and is a great quiet street for taking a few photos and soaking up the old timer atmosphere.

It's an adorable street and very popular for photos. It's definitely worth walking around Beacon Hill in general - very nice area.

This is pretty much a photo op but worth it. Parking is at a premium so I parked briefly in resident parking, with my hazard lights on, just to snap a few photos and to let the kids run up and down the whole street (darn tourists). It is charming and you don't need to spend long here. It is... More

Probably not worth the trip just to see this but it was picturesque and a nice find in the middle of Boston's renovation. I wouldn't want to live here though...people always here taking pictures....ahh tourists!

Pretty little cobbled street in Beacon Hill area of Boston. It's worth a visit if you are in the area.

There is beauty everywhere in Boston, such a lovely place with old world charm. This street is a lovely reminder of days gone by. A perfect place for photos.

This is a world famous location and is seen in any collection of Boston photos. Considering that and the fact that we were there mid afternoon, there were only a handful of tourists . You need to be sure footed though as the cobbles and pavement are very uneven. If you need to ask how much one of the houses... More

Staying in Beacon Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Beacon Hill
Visit this historic and ritzy Boston neighborhood to soak up its classic New England charm as you stroll down cobblestoned, gas-lamp lined streets. Bring your walking shoes, camera, and select a nice day to wander through the hilly neighborhood and check out its exclusive addresses. Louisburg Square, Mt. Vernon street, Chestnut street and the extremely narrow and widely photographed Acorn street make a nice walking path. Make sure to meander down Charles street to poke into boutiques and antique shops, cafes, and restaurants on this quaint shopping street. Don’t forget to catch a glimpse up close of the State House with its beautiful and iconic dome.
