This 90-minute walking tour explored the why, how and when of the filling in and construction of the Back Bay of Boston. We've always been fascinated by this topic, especially since we read William Martin's fictional story, "Back Bay." So when we learned Boston Strolls...More

Nikki was our tour guide. She did an awesome job of explaining the long history of the North End of Boston. She was very knowledgeable, witty and able to answer all my questions. Our 16 and 18 year old children also enjoyed the tour.

The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with
historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through
one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston
Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling
statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the
pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where,
during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting
children and eager tourists through the pond. Have
