Join us as we celebrate our 20th year providing culinary walking tours of Boston's "Little Italy" North End and Chinatown. Boston Food Tours embraces Michele Topor's passion for all things culinary. Trained as a professional chef, Michele has taught cooking, catered, and consulted since 1979. Michele's cooking classes, market tours and culinary trips to Italy have been featured on the Travel Channel, TV Food Network, HGTV and CNN, as well as on the radio, and in various national and international publications. Close your eyes and imagine strolling down quaint and narrow streets while enjoying colorful sights, tantalizing aromas, and chaotic sounds as we wind our way through neighborhoods alive with colorful immigrant history and undiscovered "hidden gems". Both walking tours are like cooking classes on foot. You will learn how Mediterranean and Asian cultures prepare and enjoy their food, and how their dishes have been adapted to American kitchens. The secret of a cuisine is the high quality of ingredients, a sense of regional tradition and an understanding of the culture. In order to help you choose the best products, we visit the local merchants who stock the highest quality and most authentic ingredients, while learning how to avoid fraudulent imitations. On our tours, each stop provides a sample tasting of specific food ingredients and delicacies, often a benchmark flavor of that cuisine. Our experienced and knowledgeable guides offer cooking tips for incorporating these essential foods into your own recipes. As you become immersed in a world of ethnic flavors, you will learn the secrets of the world's healthiest cuisines. Our tours give you an insider's view of the vibrant, thriving ethnic enclaves. You will gain confidence in how to select the essential products that are both delicious and healthy. Your world and dinner will never be the same. Join us on Boston's oldest and most original culinary walking tour of "Little Italy" (North End) and Chinatown, and learn everything you must know to enjoy traditional Italian and Chinese foods in order to nourish your body in the way that nature intended.

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church
