Excellent way to spend 1 1/2 on a hot day. Sailing trip was great, cash bar for drinks, etc. The crew including Kyle, Fredo, Jamie and Johnny English were outstanding! Will go again on my next trip to Boston!

I highly recommend a sail on Boston's Liberty Clipper! We sailed on Tuesday at noon. We were told that the ship can hold 100, but that day there were only about a dozen passengers on board, which gave us plenty of room to walk around as we sailed. The captain and crew were excellent..friendly, fun, and informative, without being overbearing.... More

We arrived on board the clipper we realised that we made a mistake when booking a room for 2 people. We contacted staff member Ben who was extremely helpful when it came to accommodating us to a different room. We ended up boarding their other ship "star" and we were grated by Fredo, who was actually just finished work and... More

The crew was excellent. They were accommodating, personable, invited me to help or simply enjoy the sail. I take a harbor cruise around the harbor every summer but this was the tall ship sail. I'm returning for the Sunday Brunch sail.

You've got to love a company that does what it says it will do! Arrived to find out we were the only ones scheduled for the sail- and we couldn't change our time- so off we went- Fredo, Captain Kyle, Jack White- all were professional, knowledgeable, and entertaining! We had great drinks (no judgement) we were informed it was 5pm... More

Showed up in Boston with my kids and my brothers with their boys. It turned out I accidently made my reservations for the next Sunday. They were able to accomdate both my reservations for the evening sail and beds for all seven of us for the night. It was quite the experience, being on a sail out in Boston Harbor... More

We booked a 1030am cruise the morning of departure and it was great. Even though it was last minute everything went smoothly. We were on a sailing ship with two masts that National Geographic had sailed around the world twice! The weather was amazing. There is a feeling when you're out on a boat with the wind filling the sails... More

A friend and I took the 12:30 pm afternoon sail on the Liberty Star today. Captain Neil and his crew were very friendly and able seamen. We had a good wind which made sailing fun. It was nice to see the city of Boston from a different perspective. We'd recommend Liberty Fleet to anyone wishing to enjoy a sail around... More

Our group of 7 set sail on the Liberty Star July 6th. We booked the 10:30 am excursion online 2 days before with no problem. Checking in that morning was a breeze! The hour-long sail around the harbor was interesting and relaxing, even though we chose the hottest day of the year, with very little wind. The crew was obviously... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
The largest area of the city, Downtown is rich with historical and iconic sites in Boston. Stroll through one of Boston’s most famous green spaces, the Boston Public Gardens, check out and make way for duckling statues, picnic under a beautiful tree overlooking the pond, and walk over the iconic footbridge where, during summer time, you will catch a swan boat toting children and eager tourists through the pond. Have your camera ready to capture its peaceful beauty in the middle of a bustling city. Continue on through the Gardens and take in some open green space at the Boston Common, where you can spend time throwing a frisbee, sitting on a park bench, or, in the winter time, skating on the frog pond. Head north from the end of the Common to see the golden dome of the State House, and travel through government center to Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, both a historic and popular destination worth a quick visit for a first time to Boston. Head to Long Wharf to visit the Aquarium, or catch a boat to Charlestown or even Cape Cod.
