So I went to the bar at House of Blues for Marathon Monday - April 17, 2017. The 3 of us went upstairs and the outside deck was at capacity so we went into the main area and went to the back lefthand bar. We waited around 10 minutes for drinks. We finally got our round of drinks and shots... More

This place was much bigger than I originally imagined. It was a pretty cool place for a show. I had floor tickets, so I can't speak for the sound quality & crowds on levels 2 & 3. I liked having a bar on either side of the floor so you were never too far away. Coat check was $5 per... More

The House of Blues in Boston is by far the best spot in the city for live music! The venue set up is amazing and there isn't a bad place to see the stage. Staff is great. Bathrooms are always being cleaned. Drinks are not over priced.

Went to see Kari Jobe in concert here in April(2nd) 2017. Show was amazing. Acoustics were great, sound and production were awesome. Had a wonderful time. Very nice venue for live show if you don't mind standing because actual seats are limited.

We attended the Andrew McMahon Show on 4/8/17. We had a great time. Prices are accurate and not a bad place to stand. No obstructed view. Men's bathroom was clean, but the girls bathroom on the floor was not. Still a great time and great show.

Went to the St Patty's day dropkick concert to kick off my sisters bachelorette weekend. It was awesome!! The venue was clean enpugh (at first) and there was almost no wait at any of the bars around. The floor did get into a mosh pit for most of the time, but when you didnt want to be in it you... More

This is such a neat venue with the different floors, not too big either. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and they put on a great show.

Most of the tickets were general admission standing only..but the place was comfortable and have a nice vibe. No bad place to experience show. Bar staff great. Easy in and out. Can eat in restaurant prior to avoid line.

Went for a concert. No problems getting in, and seats were mostly comfortable. Bars only had 1 bartender each ( there are multiple bars), so that was problematic. Once the mikes were balanced, the music was great, Location near Fenway is cool. There are plenty of good restaurants in the area, so no need to go to the so-so HoB... More

I really enjoyed the House of Blues when I attended the Sum 41 concert in Oct. 2016. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Our seats were "balcony 1", row B, seats 207 & 208. This wasn't really a great choice because it was difficult to see the stage past the folks in the one row in front of us. I... More

Staying in Fenway / Kenmore

Neighbourhood Profile
Fenway / Kenmore
The Curse of the Bambino may have ended years ago, but loyal Red Sox fans will continue to infiltrate this home to historic Fenway Park, where you can find victory banners, people yelling in stereotypical Boston accents, and lots of sports bars. Located within Kenmore Square, the old gas station Citgo sign is another Boston skyline classic seen throughout the city. In addition to a hectic and diehard sports mentality, this neighborhood is also home to some of Boston’s many universities. Move from Boston University territory to that of Northeastern, and spend time at the famous Museum of Fine Arts. For more culture, check out the smaller but equally beautiful Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Continue off the beaten path and check out the green space in the Back Bay Fens, a pretty community garden. This diverse neighborhood has a mix of universities, sports, culture, and more residential green space.
