The U.S.S. Constitution is moored here. I've toured it a few years ago, but currently there is substantive work on the ship and it is often closed to the public. It is a Must-See when in Boston, so inquire ahead of time of its availability...More

The shipyard played a large role in the manufacture of ropes and metalworks for the Navy at one point. Also a major hub for putting ships into dry dock for repair. Fascinating displays - very well done. The USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" - the world's...More

This Navy Yard houses the USS Constitution and Museum. It is clean and well-kept. The Naval officers assigned here are informative and friendly. The day we visited access to the ship was available to the public. There are also great views of the Boston skyline...More

Visited to get NPS passport stamp. Found ranger very helpful but no scheduled ranger talks. Video interesting to see what shipyard like in the past. USS Constitution currently in dry dock but still can visit. Over 18 must present identification.
