First it is an active Catholic Church so me take off your hats! Neat Bullfinch church very plainly decorated but a nice haven after bustling around Hanover street all morning. Stop by for a visit and relax a bit.

While this simple church, steps from the Old North Church, isn't the attraction of its neighbor, it was interesting to stumble upon, and has a historic legacy of its own. Two things intrigued me enough to enter: a plaque commemorating the execution of Goodwife Ann...More

We walked in the North End and ended up running into that nice red bricks church. The outside is very pretty but the inside very simple. Nothing very intriguing in there then it's a cute quaint and quiet church.

Stepped into St Stephen's during our trip on the Freedom Trail. I believe Rose Kennedy was baptized here.

Had a few minutes to kill waiting on a friend for dinner, meandering past Paul Revere house and then his statue in the park. I turned around and saw this beautiful church with its doors open. I read the Rose Kennedy plaque and my interest...More

North End
Wandering around Boston’s North End can feel like
being transported to Europe. Stroll down Hanover and
Salem streets for the finest Italian restaurants,
bakeries, cafes, and a few boutique shops. Take part
in the big debate as to whether Modern Pastry or
Mike’s serves a better cannoli. Before your food coma
sets in, make sure to stop by historic Paul Revere’s
home, and follow the Freedom Trail to Old North Church
