Asheville is known for its local arts scene. This is a great setup to shop and experience a wide array of local art. What was an unexpected surprise was how affordable most of the art was. I was pleased with the several pieces I procured.

Two levels with lots of different work from artists. Great to walk around or grab a milkshake! You could spend up to an hour or more with all they have to offer!

This is a store that has quite a few different booths for different artists and type of art. It is for sale. It's a great place to see lots of different types of art. I believe most of it was local. Fun to just walk around and see everything. We didn't buy anything though. They also have a soda fountain.

We love to stop in at the old Woolworth building every time we head to Asheville. There are always awesome street musicians playing outside, and the art inside is always beautiful and unique. The cafe spot is always reasonably priced and tasty which makes them very crowded at times. (and the espresso is great)

We went into the Woolworth Walk to get dessert at the Soda Fountain, during the posted open hours. The staff at the front door apologized, then explained the Soda Fountain was closed. Though we were disappointed, we enjoyed looking at the work of local artisans, many of which we later saw at other galleries downtown. The "draw" that sets this... More

This hole in the wall in downtown Asheville is not worth the walk. Stuffed full of uninteresting old furniture passing for antiques, most everything is overpriced. Skip it.

My wife and I were visiting Asheville and walking the downtown area when we safe the old Woolworth that still had it's Soda Fountain. You cannot go wrong with a collection of artist booths to view and a soda/grill. I had a chocolate egg cream. It was delicious with a cost of $2.95. We would revisit.

Nice little place to walk through. They feature local artist's work like sculptures, paintings, print work and jewelry. I love that you can eat at the Soda Fountain and then explore the upstairs and downstairs areas.
