Wonderful gardens, nice trails, excellent cafe, great art exhibit. Dog friendly. We enjoyed it, even in the rain.

Very nicely kept gardens. Lots of butterflies throughout. Perfect for an afternoon along the Blue Ridge Parkway!

I have never seen this kind of well-organized and managed arboretum until now. There are a beautiful flowers, butterflies, and trees in the garden. This is really nice to take a walk and a rest anytime if time is available.

Thanks for reaching out and we look forward to having you! All facilities will be open in April (including the Baker Exhibit Center). Most hiking trails are dirt/gravel and the gardens are wheelchair accessible.
