After reading other reviews, we felt we could handle the Moderate trail to see the Falls from several viewpoints. As people who live on the Florida coast we have no mountains (or even hills or stairs!) in our lives, so we underestimated how difficult it...More

Billed as the most photographed Falls in North Carolina, these Falls are quite modest and proved a disappointment. Head south from Asheville toward the Pisgah Forest for many better waterfall vistas.

Beautiful scenery, the falls are amazing and also easy to see. The walk isn't hard for the most part, there are some stairs which can pose as difficult for some but overall anyone would enjoy Linnville Falls.

We're pretty fit, but the moderate walk was fairly challenging. It was all well worth it, though. The views of the waterfall were excellent from several viewpoints. Everything was well maintained and clearly marked out.

Big hike. you need to be in good shape to really enjoy it but a great place to spend the day and get energy out of the children.

Short easy/moderate hike to an impressive waterfall. There are a few different view points. So glad we stopped on the way to Grandfather Mountain.

This is a breathtaking site and the area surrounding is gorgeous. An absolute must visit, there is no other place like our Blue Ridge Mountains.

Unfortunately you are unable to swim here unless there is another part we didn't visit. Most of the view points are either super high for a great view or the area near the water are gated off for safety. There is even a sign... More
