Ticket to the Candlelight Tour allows you to spend the entire day at the Estate. We started at the gardens and conservatory. The conservatory had a gorgeous display of poinsettias, many types that we've never seen before. Also in the Estate area are several nice shops. We then went to the Antler Village where there are shops, restaurants, and the... More

Fantastic tour, worth the price if you are into architecture & history! Really amazing how something this big was built in that time period. 250 rooms & 43 bathrooms when most homes didn't have one "inside" bathroom!

One must do a self-tour and use the headsets. So worth the minimal price. You tour at your own pace and can re-hear recording at each stop if you want. Stable is so very perfect for lunch.

Stopped by here on our way through North Carolina. Seemed a bit spendy at first but includes such a vast amount of things to see on the grounds and ended with some wine tasting. The mansion, gardens and views of the mountains were beautiful! Definitely worth visiting!

This house is amazing. You can not understand its magnitude without actually visiting. We went for the Candle Light tour at Christmas. But you need to go back in during the day time and see the difference of the rooms when the sun hits the rooms. The architecture of this house is amazing. It reminds me of line from a... More

The Biltmore at night decorated for Christmas - just beautiful!! Candlelight, roaring fireplaces and live music is a experience not to be missed! We have been to the Biltmore on several occasions, but this was so special with everything looking so festive! There are Christmas trees and garland and flowers everywhere! What a wonderful way to begin the Christmas season!!

We visited during Thanksgiving. The house was being decorated for Christmas and another exhibit with period costumes. Should be great. The house is beautiful and the grounds and views are just as awesome. A must see at least once.

We visited after Thanksgiving and the Christmas decorations were amazing-the Christmas trees, the garland, the Gingerbread replica of Biltmore, and all the poinsettias!!! The artwork-several Singer-Sargents and a Boldini, among others-was impressive. And I loved seeing the downstairs rooms! The Conservatory orchids were beautiful! We only had a couple of hours so we missed seeing the winery and walking around... More
