I spent most days from 10am until 1:30pm in the park reading and soaking-up the sun. Quite and relaxing even though there was a playground near by.

Right on 50 just west of the college. Wonderful big park would be an asset to any community. We stop there every time we pass through town. The dogs love the grass.

Fantastic park for children of all ages. They have everything from infant swings to a rock climbing wall. The park is conveniently located next to the visitors center and has clean restrooms.

We had lunch at this park. There are quite a few large chainsaw carved trees and cool playground equipment if you have young kids. The visitor's center is right next door.

Before leaving Gunnison, we took the kids here to play before driving off on Route 50. This park is located behind the visitors center. It has beautiful, wood hand carved benches and statures. Our kids enjoyed the stop and yours would too!
