If you want to see about 10 snakes in cages and a alligator in a pond, this is the place to stop. Cost $6 to walk around 1 minute and see everything. Pretty disappointing, not as advertised.

I didn’t get out the car except to take my husband’s picture in front of the presumably life sized skunk ape sculpture, but he says the whole experience was cool. He even got the coffee mug to prove it

If you go here thinking it's anything more than a throwback to the days of old roadside attractions, then you just won't get it. This is a great place for kitschy trinkets and t-shirts. Make sure to get a fridge magnet and a koozie too....More

This place has been around for ages. We didn't go thru it to see the animals or tour on an airboat. We just visited the store and bought a couple T-shirts. The woman behind the counter was not friendly and acted like she would rather...More

As I’m sure you could guess, the skunk ape is most likely a made up thing. The research center is nothing more than a tourist trap. Don’t be disheartened however. The reptiles are worth checking out. HUGE snake!

Oh, on reading over my answer to your question, I mentioned the pole boat ride. I forgot to say that is a separate cost.
