I disagree with the reviewer who stated there's nothing here. Wrong! Besides the campground/store there's a seasonal Visitor Center (closed in the summer). Many good hiking trails & wildlife. Hot Springs Historical area. Dugout Wells. We spent our first day exploring here. Make some time...More

This is a great place to see the night sky; the nearest town is 100 miles away. The main loop of the campground has a few trees, no real privacy. The outer loops are where to go if you want some solitude. Our site was...More

The Rio Grande Village in Big Bend National Park caters to RVs. If RVs are your thing, go here. If you are camping you can come and have coin operated 5 min. showers.

I traveled to Big Bend in January and stayed for a week in a 24ft RV. the park was very clean, nice scenery, it wasn't too crowded, just a few tents and RV. No shower or hookups. Clean bathrooms. Close to the Rio Grande store...More

This place seems to be a campsite gas and have a store and laundry. The village itself is a campsite. There is a nature trail at campsite 18. Besides that there isn't much to do.
