Great docents

Great place to fully understand history of los alamos. Do take advantage of the docents. All were very knowledgeable and long term residents. Be sure to visit Hans Bethe house.

We went to Bradbury museum first and then stopped here. The grounds and the pond are beautiful! We enjoyed the stroll and looking through the lodge. Good information. It is a work in progress.

We really enjoyed our walk around the Lodge and all of the information and exhibits. We had fun doing the puzzle which took us all around the campus answering questions and then going back for our prize. Thanks for such an enjoyable time that was packed with information.

We spent a very interesting, informative morning at this newly remodeled and expanded museum. It gave the complete narrative from start to finish of the scientific lab at Los Alamos which is still fully functioning with approximately 10,000 employees. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and the word passionate wouldn't be an exaggeration. The museum just reopened in December after a... More

A new national park that has a small office/museum but is working on a more permanent location. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and there is a movie to watch talking about the projects. The whole town is really the park, so wandering around on your own will get you a flavor of things.

This place is slightly hidden, and so once I went to look for it, and could not find it...but I think if they had some signs pointing to its destination--it would get more foot traffic.

Los Alamos Historical Museum is currently located in the Visitor Center, but still worth the visit. The docents are former employees of the Los Alamos Lab, very informative. While there you can tour the beautiful grounds/park in the area. This temporary location is withing the Museum area. All in downtown Los Alamos.

Even though this museum is located in a temporary building, it is still worth visiting as everything associated with the Manhattan Project is intriguing
