This Park is HUGE – we only made it to the Island in the Sky part of the park, and it did not disappoint. You have to visit the Grandview Point for some breathtaking views and a short hike out to another overlook. We only...More

You can drive to the end of the Island in the sky from Moab in about an hour and see a wonderful sunset followed by magnificent sky full of stars. Short hikes along the way are well worth it.

Didn't know what to expect but sun and clouds presented painted landscapes I have never in my life experienced. A must see only 6 hours from Denver. Arches is a small amusement park vs Canyon Lands which is like Disney World for geology. I feel...More

We visited both the Needles District and Island in the Sky District. The Needles District was more remote but offers spectacular views of rock formations. The visitor's center was well maintained and the park rangers were friendly and helpful. The Island in the Sky District...More

Canyonlands has its own beauty but there are more nicer and exciting things to do in the Arches National Park. The Mesa Arch is beautiful at Sunrise when the sun reflects into the arch it changes to a bright orange color. Place gets crowded during...More

I didn't get to spend near as much time as I would have liked at Canyonlands, but it was an amazing day trip. Would highly recommend Island in the Sky-- its absolutely gorgeous. Really wanted to go to the Needles but didn't have enough time...More

Most RVs are OK as long as they stay on the paved roads. The park is divided into 4 sections. The only ones I would try to access are Island in the Sky and Needles. I pulled a small trailer into Needles, no problem. While... More
