This is a great hike. Not too crowded at all, and you can almost have it to yourself in the winter months. Also in the winter the icicles are pretty awesome hanging over the rock overhangs. The Morning Glory Bridge at the end is really...More

We did this hike on a whim because we heard that it was shady and the day was forecast to be near 100. We left at 11am as we were not planning to hike, but it was fine, just as long as you bring enough...More

Make sure to pay attention to the trail markings or you may do some interesting river crossings and wear bug spray. Otherwise - nice little hike!

This trail hugs a river bottom and winds along through sometimes lush river side foliage. Bring your mosquito repellant. As I remember this is a mostly easy hike with a few spots being a bit steeper. You finish at a rock canyon wall with an...More

We walked the 2 1/2 miles to Morning Glory Arch, following a stream that we crossed on stepping stones several times. This is an easy hike in a canyon but not particularly unusual in scenery. You could get much the same feel in the Red...More

this was a nice change from the hot, dessert like hikes we did for the earlier 2 days. The Sandy trails, green vegetation, and running water were beautiful. The rambling up and down, in and out paths were fun. We were told there was a...More

Went on a hike up Negro Bill canyon which ran along a stream a lot of shade even in the heat of the day. moderate hike suitable for all ages. The stream is fed by an aquifer which is at the trails end.

We decided to start this hike a little later in the morning on a very hot day in June (temps above 106 in the afternoon). There was plenty of shade along the trail for most of the way and walking near the stream was pleasant....More

Camped at Negro Bill last June. It's still there across from the trailhead. There are a bunch of other campsites along the river with varying amenities.
