Thank you, Alex, for a great evening under the cosmos. I appreciated the practical, friendly approach to making the event special for each member of our group, regardless of previous star experience. The evening was comfortable, informative, and inspiring and included star clusters, galaxies, Jupiter, with the occasional satellite or shooting star making an appearance. Great equipment, chairs, warm blankets,... More

We went with Alex into the Canyonlands Park to set up his telescope. His presentation is casual, more about showing specific features of the sky than a general orientation. We were amazed at what we saw - Jupiter! - and we're talking about it all of the next day. It was very cold out in the park for three hours... More

Alex was wonderful. The night was chilly so make sure you pack extra clothes and blankets. He has some to provide you but we still needed just one more. The experience took about 2 hrs and you get to see 4-5 specific things through the high tech telescope. Pretty awesome views of the night sky. He asks great questions to... More

We spent our Spring Break in Moab in April, and we did this stargazing activity with our 11 year old and 14 year old. Even though it was very cold that night (Alex provided blankets), we enjoyed viewing the night sky and the stars through Alex's powerful telescope. The stories and explanations were interesting, and we truly enjoyed this unique... More

If you're interested in actually learning sign up to do this! Not only did we see tons of stars, but planets as well! Alex was extremely knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions! We were out about 3.5 hours and it was really cold, but Alex provided blankets for us!

Our family spent spring break in Moab and did the star gazing with our 3 children ages 6, 8 and 15. This was a really special experience for our whole family and was one of the highlights of our vacation. We all left with a greater appreciation for the night sky, and wanting to know more! Alex is truly a... More

Alex was incredibly full of knowledge, and a very nice guide. We got to see things we never would've seen otherwise, and learned a ton. Absolutely worth doing if you're in Moab.

My wife and I took this evening telescope tour on a Tuesday night the first week of October 2016. We were two of the 8 people on our tour. The tour started at 7:30pm and we got back about 10:30. It was 57 degrees when we started and 50 degrees when we got back. Our guide was Alex, who brought... More

We had an outstanding night of star, comet & planet viewing!! The guide kept in touch with us not only before we arrived but once we got to town to ensure the best chances for viewing that suited our busy schedule. He was entertaining and knowledgeable and we had a wonderful evening in the stars.
