Having travelled from the UK, the opportunity to take in the Fiery Furnace tour was not to be missed. We looked at the NPS option, but could not rely on the fact that we could not book far enough in advance to guarantee a tour, so opted for Deep Desert Expeds. We were not disappointed. We met on time at... More

The fiery furnace is an amazing and beautiful place to hike through. I went through with Mary as my guide. We had about 7 of us on that day. They were an older group, but Mary was incredible about leading them and encouraging them through some of the obstacles. She kept reassuring them and showed them proper techniques to get... More

My husband and I were in the area on a spontaneous adventure and at the last minute were trying to find a way into Fiery Furnace. Deep Desert was able to secure us some last-minute passes for the hike the very next day. Our guide was Mary. She was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Her background is in geology and... There were 8 of us on this tour, including Mary, our guide. She was a great guide because she was knowledgable, lighthearted, and easy going. She was at ready when a helping hand was needed. We enjoyed the company of others on this trip.

Deep Desert took my family of 6 (kids 10 and 13, grandparents 71 and 74) into the Fiery Furnace. Charlie was a fantastic guide and was extremely patient with my older mother-The hike was a little more strenuous than she was expecting. Charlie met us at the visitor center and we spent about 3 1/2 hours exploring. He was very... More

We had a very special experience hiking through the Fiery Furnace. Our guide Mary was knowledgeable, responsible and lots of fun too. It is a very special place with a fragile ecosystem and Mary impressed on us it's uniqueness. I will always remember it's beauty and tranquillity and my own personal satisfaction in completing this tricky hike. Definitely an adventure... More

Recently my husband, 2 friends, 2 young women we didn't know, and myself, took a guided tour in Fiery Furnace with Logan from Deep Deserts Expeditions. It was fantastic! Possibly this was my favorite hike of all time---and there have been many. Logan was an excellent guide and taught us some great techniques for maneuvering through some interesting areas and... Logan, with Deep Desert Expeditions, was awesome! The private tour of Fiery Furnace was, for us, a far better option than the Ranger guided tours. The park seemed to be all for us and the wealth of information Logan had to share was incredible. Don't hesitate ... book this tour now!

Four of us, all in our early 70's, and two young women we did not know took a guided tour with Logan of Deep Desert Expeditions. We had done some research but really were surprised by the hike through Fiery Furnace. We had registered months in advance with Mike of Deep Desert and met Logan and the gals at the... More

Thank you for the kind review! We are indeed very concerned about the management at Arches National Park and their questionable decision to eliminate commercially guided tours in the Fiery Furnace: it will both harm the resource and the experience. We ask anyone who's enjoyed the Fiery Furnace or hoping to, to communicate their opposition to this shortsighted decision by... More
