You have been told that "you have to ride Slickrock if you go to Moab". While this is reasonable to very strong riders, I would add that beginners will have a better time walking part of it and watching some technique of the skilled riders....More

The ride may be a bit much for beginners or even some intermediate riders but this is a trail every mountain biker needs to do at least once. The constant flowing rock trail is such an unique experience and the scenery is beautiful. The last...More

For many years, as a mountain biker, I've heard of the Moab Slick Rock trail. On this trip it was a must. I'm not a young insane rider, but I just wanted to try it. Many in town warned me about it being a true...More

Great place to ride!! Fun, fun, fun, but not for the beginner. Take your time and enjoy the sights or concentrate on the trail and haul.

This is a great trail. But you need to be experienced to ride it. Very steep climbs. The view is amazing. Be prepared to use all your low gears...

Great mountain bike ride, the trail is impossible to lose. Expect plenty of elevation ups & downs with a moderate technical difficulty factor.

95% slickrock, super fun for mountain biking, only downside was the motos and dune buggys. Go early or mid-week to avoid the crowds.

Super fun roller coastery trail with gorgeous views throughout (there are even peaks of the arches at certain points). I'm an intermediate level rider, and enjoyed every moment of it, but would note it's more strenuous then you would expect (tons of decents and climbs),...More

You can do it but you may want to save your energy for the trail. It is about 3 miles from downtown with some pretty good ascents.
