Yes, it is a tourist trap. But that does not mean you shouldn't stop. We went through the market but not the house tour or trading post. There are two jeeps you must see. One is on top of the 200' ft (?) tall rock...More

This is a home built in the side of a mountain. Interesting couple built the place as their residence and it is now a tourist attraction.

This is an interesting experience. The hole in a rock was at one time at restaurant and personal living quarters build into the Red Rock by a couple. It is worth a visit.

Loved the tour at Hole in the Rock...amazing that someone made their home in the rock. Also visit the petting zoo on the premises...you will not be disappointed.

Definitely a tourist trap, but an interesting one. There’s a gift shop and area to walk around outside with plenty of free things to look at. There’s a zoo with camels, zebras, etc you can feed. The admission is $4.95 per person, we skipped this....More

We were not really sure what we were going to see when we stopped in. Place looks pretty kitschy on the outside and if it were not for the fact that it really IS a house in the rock it would be. Tour was short...More
