We were told about this place by a previous traveler and decided to check it out on a hot day. It was very interesting. The tour was short, just over 10 minutes, but interesting. I think the price was $6.50 per person. It definitely was...More

I usually drive by attractions like this. Normally, it just strikes me as something thrown together to attract tourists and make a few dollars. But that is not true in this case. Hole 'N the Rock is actually the fulfillment of a lifelong effort by...More

Very quirky and interesting. I recomend the tour of the house for its historic interest. The couple who owned it were innovative and talented. The owner died in his early fifties in 1957 of a heart attack most likely due to the greesy diet of...More

We took the tour, which lasted twelve minutes but was very rushed, the girl was tripping her words out so fast to get through so quickly. Amazing to think how two people achieved so much is creating a huge home inside the rocks. No photos...More

We stopped here just to see what this was. It is a store to shop for trinkets and it had interesting items to view in the back. It was fun to see it carved out of the mountain.

Cool place to see. Take the quick tour if you can afford to. Very interesting story and hard to believe they lived inside this huge rock.

Not much of a tourist if you don't stop at the hole. It has a nice area to just stop and look around. Some of the buildings need updating, Bathrooms are one, clean but showing wear. Besides the Hole there is one nice gift shop...More

Imagine a house inside a massive cliff. The place was built by blowing and shoveling a huge room inside the cliff, only supported by threee natural columns. All original furniture is still there, along with the owner's stuffed donkey! It must have taken remarkable will...More

We did not tour the home, but walked the grounds and found many interesting things. The owner has assembled quite a collection of "stuff", including an all metal jeep. With a petting zoo, this can be a fun stop for kids.
