Great historic place. It's worth the visit. We enjoyed the building and the cemetery. They have done a great job preserving history.

Well worth the visit. The 13-minute movies provides a nice overview, and the site itself is interesting. The park rangers do a great job, very personable and interesting. Glad we stopped by!

it is located in down town Greeneville Tn. they also have his tailor shop close by. Greeneville is a nice little city with a lot of civil war history makes for a nice day trip for people in east Tennessee

I would check out the visitor center. The exhibits are informative and Pres. Johnson's tailor shop is in there. Also, the view from Pres. Johnson's grave is worth the short drive over there.

The website mentions a Christmas closure, but I don't see a New Year's one mentioned. You might want to try calling them sometime this week or next so you don't drive over there just to be disappointed.
