Great spot...once you get there!
Jul. 2019 • Business
The roads were extremely treacherous and no warnings that the road that follows the beach eventually turns into a rough, rock trail and drop off. Make sure to take an SUV or truck to get there or tour the entire beach shoreline.

Tons of little crabs and coral along the beach. Truly a beautiful place to visit once you know what you are in for! Bring water shores due to the large pieces of broken coral versus sandy beach areas.

Pretty nice dive site!
May 2019 • Friends
Majority of my advanced open water diver course was done in Lau Lau Beach. In comparison to other dive sites, Lau Lau Beach has the shortest walking distance in terms for shore dives. However, still beware of the holes while walking towards the drop down, cause my friend accidentally stepped into a hole and sprained her ankle with 20kg scuba gears on!

Beautiful Water and Small Snorkeling Area
Jun. 2018
Lau Lau Beach is nice beach to spend the day. Unlike a few of the other beaches on Saipan Lau Lau has a nice area with some 3-4' deep water to swim/ snorkel. Most of the beaches are very shallow due to the barrier reef around the island. Make sure you wear some sort of foot protection at most of the beaches if you plan on walking in the water. There is dead coral in many areas and it is very sharp.

Snorkeling and Beach Diving is the Reason Why
Aug. 2017 • Family
Conditions were not ideal for our check out dives, due to 3 typhoons, yes count em 3, within a thousand miles on Aug 1. Still we enjoyed our dives complete with octopus experience, turtle pics and the fish ball...all promised and delivered by our Awesome guide Jay. You an ask for Jay at the Safe House. Also, ask how to reach East End snorkeling and cliff jumping spot at the end of Lau Lau Drive past the beach.

Great dive
Apr. 2017 • Couples
We set out of Lau Lau for our first dive on Saipan. It was a good experience to learn from he local guide on the ropes used to get out of the reef. The visibility and marine life were great. A fun day and dive site that is relatively easy.

Great snorkeling area
Feb. 2017 • Business
Off the beaten track beautiful area to relax and go snorkeling. You have to walk out to the reef drop off, and waves can be strong so be careful. Don't go alone. Beautiful fish and corals to see.

Favorite beach on the island
Nov. 2016 • Couples
Personally, Lau Lau is my favorite beach on the island. It will give you a great opportunity of wandering along the shoreline and just enjoying the water and the waves.
The water itselfis not very deep and stays quite shallow for a long time when actually walking into the ocean.

Absolutely beautiful diving
May 2016
I dove here twice with Aqua Connections. This beach is amazing for diving. I don't recommend it for sunbathing and snorkeling might be difficult with the spur and groove formations and the current. The beach is mostly coral rubble (wear shoes/booties) and flat reef/rock. The water is less than a foot deep. There is a ledge where the spur/groove formations start and you have to enter the water through a groove. There are guide ropes because the current can be strong in the grooves. I wouldn't recommend diving here without a guide since the grooves can be somewhat labyrinth-like unless you're really good at navigation. I saw many fish, my favorite were the clown/anemone fish, and turtles eating. The turtles did not care about divers at all. I've never seen turtles so comfortable with people around. I loved this place.
