Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are 2 windmills at the western most end of Golden Gate Park. The Dutch Windmill is at the north corner and has a beautiful tulip garden which was in full bloom the 3rd week of March. It’s a very small park with the windmill and tulips gardens in the immediate area but is a must see particularly in spring when the flowers are in bloom.
There are no public restrooms and there can be many people even in slow times because the park is very small. We loved the park and would highly recommend visiting.
At the other corner of the south end of Golden Gate Park is the Murphy Windmill which has just a Windmill to see along with a small keepers house and a couple placards with history but nothing else in that immediate area.

Beautiful, peaceful and full of life. Crowded enough to enjoy people watching. Spacious enough to remain comfortable. We stayed about 90 minutes, in part to an engaging conversation w8th a stranger but mostly because it was just such an easy place to be

It is certainly windy enough in SF for windmills but in all the time I lived there, I had no idea there were any! More historic than practical at this point, but still very cool. These beauties were once responsible for pumping as much as 1 ½ million gallons of water on a daily basis for the city. Take a picnic and go enjoy!

I didn't expect to be floored by how awesome this location was going to be until I was there. These windmills overlooking Golden Gate Park and the Pacific is nothing sort of joyful. Plan on my engagement photos to be taken here!

On either side of Golden Gate Park, north and south, along the Great Highway, you can find beautiful, reconstructed windmills. They were gifts from the Queen of Holland, if my memory serves me well. They are both in working order and occasionally are seen revolving slowly.... The windmill in the north also has a BEAUTIFUL flower garden with an ever changing display of flowers. There's a bench there to sit and gaze at the beautiful flowers and breathe the fresh, clean ocean air. The sand dunes and beaches of Ocean Beach are just a few steps away. The Beach Chalet is also quite close and is a wonderful place to eat, drink and watch the sunset.

This weekend we spend two days discovering the little gems hidden within Golden Gate Park. These two windmills are certainly gems. They are beautiful and transporting.

The Windmill is lovely when surrounded with the tulips. It's nice and relaxing to spend 15min in that little garden before reaching the beach.

.. When the tulips are in bloom-this place is spectacular. the windmills are, essentially, across the street from the ocean. Golden gate Park is a gym until itself and this is one of the highlightsGolden gate Park is a gem unto ...itself and this is one of the highlights..

you can take some pictures of the windmills but the neighbourhood is better. There is really nice beach and you can also climb a little bit higher to to Lands End point. From there you can admire the Goldengate bridge

Such a surprise to see these two massive windmills on the edge of Golden Gate Park. They're barely visible from the beach because of the tree barrier, so you must turn into the park to photograph the windmills. On a weekday, it's easy to park on the streets right next to the windmills.
Although the flowers weren't tulips (in July), there were many colors of flowers in the Queen Wilhelmina gardens next to the Dutch Windmill. I liked the starkness of the Murphy Windmill against the cloudy sky.

qual o conceito foi usado no projeto do parque do golden gate?

are the tulips in bloom NOW? if not now, have they come and gone? OR yet to come?
Written 2 March 2016
Not sure. Best to check with the Park Ranger's office or the local botanlogical office to see what is in bloom. There is a conservatory down the road from the tulips and they should be able to answer your question.
