My wife and I went on the Red and White Fleet "Two Bridge Cruise." Vistas of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Penitentiary (very close-up), and Golden Gate/San Francisco Bay Bridges (actually passes under both bridges) were fantastic. However, the audio and commentary were defective and...More

I wanted to thank Don Biddinger, Daniel, and the captain of the boat who rescued me last Friday as I floated next to my kite in SF Bay. They went out of their way (literally) to help me. What a wonderful group of people! Though...More

Ok, so we didn't exactly see a sunset as we were just a little too early, but instead we were treated to very atmospheric banks of fog rolling in as we sailed happily past Alcatraz, Angel Island and into Sausalito before going out to the...More

I prepaid these tickets online. We arrived a half hour early as suggested and were almost first on line. Each passenger is given a headset and recorder to listen to the tour. The boat holds hundreds of passengers and fills up. The first part of...More

Perhaps a touch expensive given competition on the Fisherman's Wharf, but a worthwhile trip and great way to spend 2 hours. Didn't try the buffet but the bar was reasonably priced and the on board musician was a nice touch. I nearly fell overboard as...More

So, if you purchase a bridge to bridge in the AM, and if it is foggy can you exchange it for a time later that day? It talks about that for the bay cruise, but doesn't exactly say for bridge to bridge. What if the later ones are sold out, then you'd be stuck in the AM?

Honestly, we waited to purchase tickets until we where in the Wharf so we weren't deterred by weather. It was fine. Then we strolled around until it was time for our cruise. But be back to get in line earlyish because tour... More
The bridge to bridge tour has different starting times also, even though you pick a time when booking? Whap happens if the boat is full when you show up? We would not have another day to go. Also, when is it usually the most foggy in the morning?

Most foggy early morning but depends on time of year. I you purchased a ticket - there will be room. Plenty of space on their boats.
