Beautiful sunset view

The food was just ok but the view at sunset was spectacular! Reasonably priced for the area. Small servings but that seems to be the same all over San Francisco.

Had lunch at the Cliffhouse with another couple on April 19. Great views food was good but absolutely no security for their street parking lot. Our car plus an additional car was broken into and personal items were stolen and windows broken. The car was parked directly in front of the restaurant. Will never go back there unless security for... More

The restaurant offers the pleasure of dining overlooking Land's End. The food though was a bit disappointing. Particularly the crab cakes. For the price it charged, it was so so. I suppose the charge were more for the location and the view. Still,it is worth a try

Cliff House is really popular for the views it offers and we stumbled here on our way to California 1 highway from the Wharf area. It is very popular with tourists and hence we could not find any parking which was a shame. The area is very touristy since there is a beach nearby, so our experience was a little... More

Exquisite restaurant and if you are lucky the sea lions will be chattering away outside! A truly wonderful experience with exquisite rocky sea coast views-exquisite!

Our food was incredible and the views stunning. Pricey, but worth it. A basket of popovers that would melt in your mouth. The best chicken sandwich I've ever tasted, hands down. Oh my goodness, it was good. And the views- you can't get any better. What a special place!

As a native San Franciscan, Cliff House is a highly recommended experience. It's nearby the old Sutro Baths, which are full of interesting history (especially for kids), and has beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommended for an early-morning hike and a delicious reward of hot breakfast (pancakes are delicious)! A must-see in San Francisco.

The cliff house is in a wonderful setting and there is no reason you need to go spend the money to eat at the cliff house. Get a Pannini from Safeway and walk around the cliff house, Ocean Beach, the Sutro baths, etc, totally tubal

Great place for romantic meals and views. We could not get into the Bistro or restaurant ( we will reserve next time) but the bar food was delicious -and big portions of the clams and pure crab cakes made us happy enough. Definitely a place to go for any meal- we thought breakfast would be especially wonderful with the thought... More

Stopped here for lunch and sat on the side with open seating and limited options (appetizers and drinks). The clam chowder portions were large and delicious. The views were great. Service was less than stellar.
