After 9, more serious stuff starts, with experienced musicians (grass, country, etc, depending of the day). The room is not very large, and becomes quickly packed and noisy.... More

We visited here on a Saturday night. They advertised a comedian and a band. The comedian didn't turn up (although no explanation was given) and the band, when they eventually decided to take to the stage, were unbelievably bad. Locals in the crowd were apologising to us for such a bad experience! The drinks were expensive ($10 for a glass... More

Amazing atmosphere, we really loved chilling out listening to great music drinking $2 beer! I wish every city had a bar like this.

One reason and one reason alone... Beatropolis plays there. Or played there. I hate Soju man. And it is tight a tight squeeze. I think you end up here because you like whatever band is playing. Beatro got me. However, I just don't fit in, I get it now, and that's cool. I don't like when people actually consider what... More

Staying in Mission District

Neighbourhood Profile
Mission District
From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous street murals and a high density of bars and cafes make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people. While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the locals do by heading to Mission Dolores Park, buy some ice cream, and savor one of the most diverse neighbourhoods in the country.
