Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Quiet neighborhood and the slides are in the middle of it. We had so much fun at this place. Kids loved and so the adults. There are some cardboard boxes there left by other visitors, but I recommend to bring yours just in case you can’t find any! It is much better to slide with them! No restrooms around the area! Bring plenty of water!

I had a friend tell me about these slides so I made it a point to stop here in our day in the city. It was the highlight of our day for the kids(6&7). I had read there would be cardboard laying around so we did not bring any and when we arrived there was none. I was worried the trip there wouldn’t be worth it but we tried it with nothing and it worked great! We had so much fun racing each other. My husband had on nice golf shorts so he only did it a few times as he was thinking they would tear but everyone else was fine.

We spent some time in SF this August and wanted to do somethings we haven't done before. We found this little gem and knew it would be an instant hit with our daughter. The slide is a little daunting at first, but it is not super fast. It would definitely be recommended to wear casual clothes that could get a little dirty. Also the walk up along the slide is steep, so wear good footing. There were card board box pieces sitting around, but you could always bring a burlap sack or something else if you have it. Good fun!

Found this gem while searching the internet for fun and interesting things to do in SF. They are 'dual' cement slides tucked away in a neighborhood in/near the Castro (you'd never find it unless you were looking for it). I'm happy to report that my college aged daughter and her friend thought is was a blast, and this 48 year old Mom with a bodacious bottom made it down too (didn't get stuck, thank god)... we all had a blast.

We were lucky enough to have a small group tour stop here specifically so my children got to experience it. Although it's only a couple of concrete slides, the kids loved it and we could've stayed there longer racing each other. One of the perks of an excellent tour guide that knows the weird and wonderful.

What a blast! I felt like a kid again! There was no one around until we were leaving and then a group came in but we had a blast!

Slides are on a nice quiet street. Great attraction for kids. The slides are fast and kids were sliding on piece of cardboard. Friendly neighbours on the street.

This was my husband's pick on our short trip two years ago, but we ran out of time. This was first on our list for this trip, and we were glad we went. It is in a residential neighborhood. We went on a Friday morning, but only had a hard time finding a park due to it being a time when they were planning on sweeping one side of the street. They are just two concrete slides that are fairly steep. There was cardboard to slide on already there, but we often slid off our cardboard and still went down fine. My youngest was by far the fastest.

I don’t know how many concrete slides there are in SF, but found this little park with the concrete slides. My friends & I had arrived & found another couple we’re getting ready to go down with cardboard. We went after them, it was so much fun.

Is there a opening and closing time for these slides? Is there normally leftover cardboard to use or should we bring with us. is there public transportation in the area to use to get there?

The park is open dawn to dusk. There is cardboard to use but if you can bring some, do. I took Bart to the Mission then walked a long ways but I had the time and liked being in foot. Uber or Lyft would be very easy to use for this location, or really any in the city.
