Awesome walking tour! Wes was very knowledgeable and entertaining! I recommend this tour for anyone who want to enrich their knowledge of the Haight-Ashbury and the Free Love era. The walking was casual- nothing treacherous or steep. Wes shared his musical talents with a few songs as we sang along.

I would definitely recommend this tour. It gives you a great insight into the city's history and includes some great tips from locals. I loved the POPOS as well as the thrilling and fun stories from our guide Fischer. Definitely a must-do in San Francisco.

Francis led an energetic tour that covered a lot of history and gave the stories of some of the most important personalities in the development of the city. Great information on Chinatown and its history.

More

The tour does not live up to the expectations set by the description on their website. To start with, we expected some veteran from the city to run the tour. That would give us some firsthand views and greater authenticity to the tour. However, our tour guide had come to the US only a couple of years earlier. He did... More

Wes is an engaging guide, and the tour covered some interesting sites, as well as getting Wes' take on current issues in SF life. I learned some fun facts about SF, saw some sites I would definitely not have noticed on my own, and met some interesting folks from around the world. If you like to walk and notice what's... More
