When we reached on the Treasure Island, we find some security structures were going away and new tourist points are under process. We have a great view of the SF City skyscraper, Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island. We took several photographs from there.

New neighborhoods are sprouting here. Walk or drive to the edge to enjoy some of the best views of the downtown San Francisco skyline. Views are the best feature.

We went to a craft market on a Saturday morning. In addition to ample parking, there's a used goods part, craft section, food (Portuguese bakery) and music. And the sweeping views of San Francisco from any place along the 1 long market street. The entry...More

I loved that I had lived in SF for years, and never thought to go over here, because that means that most people have done the same, which allows it to be low key. If everyone went over there, than it would be way overdone....More

I always take visitors here for the view, but today I found the front gate viewing area closed. They now route you to a new Visitor Parking Area south of 9th Street between Avenue B and Avenue of Palms (east of Mersea Restaurant). I didn't...More

Coming from SF, the exit will be on your left. So, stay in the left lane and slow down when you exit. It is a sharp and short curve !!!
