This was probably my favorite neighbourhood. Yes it has a gritty flare to it but it added to the character. Really cute boutiques for shopping and a great perfume shop selling unique perfumes. Murals are great to along with mission Delores park. There are of...More

Cool paintings but for us 3 40 year old woman from Minnesota, it was located in the scariest part of San Francisco. Would skip unless you're with people who could fight of druggies.

The neighborhood is all trendy and has many new cafes, movie theaters, stores and restaurants. Definitely more people hanging out and the vibe is great. Some gentrification activities over the years

Stroll around, go to the park, do a little shopping, go for brunch, get some ice-cream, walk a little more. The only down-side is there was a street with many homeless who were a bit caustic

If you want authentically awesome mexican food- visit the Mission district. It is a fascinating historic and cultural neighborhood. It has many beautiful buildings and dozens upon dozens of delicious Mexican and other Central American restaurants.

I love an area that is Kitschy, eclectic and artsy. The Mission District definitely filled the requirement. I enjoyed the diversity of restaurants, tea rooms and art venues as well as the fun people watching. It's full of San Francisco style architecture as well as...More

I love the Mission. Down to earth and real. Full of colour, great food, coffee and shopping. My favourite part of San Francisco for sure.

From burritos to bicyclists, the Mission is the
foundation for all things hip in the city. Cultural
attractions, an independent arts community, sumptuous
street murals and a high density of bars and cafes
make this neighbourhood a magnet for young people.
While terrific inexpensive food is abundant, its
top-of-the-line restaurants now compete with the
city’s best for fashionable diners. Indulge as the
