We had an awesome, real, down-to-earth tour of San Francisco with Chris today! He's a native of San Francisco, who loves SFO, and he shares interesting information about the history of different regions of the city. We wanted to explore the REAL "San Francisco" through...More

I had to harass my husband into letting me book us onto this tour. I'd eyed it up weeks before our trip but it wasn't until we arrived in San Francisco that he finally caved and let me book it (and we were lucky there...More

First things first, they warn you on the website that there is a lot of walking involved, so that is true. It is not as bad as it's made out as you get a lot of resting with the different on and offs from the...More

Hi LiTS, Thanks for the review. It was a fun day. We did some extra walking do to the March for Science interrupting bus service, however I think your numbers are off a bit. There are no 45 degree hills in San Francisco. In fact...More

Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable Chris. Great start to our stay in this awesome city, got our bearings so we could pick our areas to revisit. As we are not big "city" lovers we tend to stay and eat in local residential areas so...More

Chris is a great tour guide. He covers the city in an eclectic, random fashion, following the public transport system, tram, trolley & bus time tables. His pop-culture knowledge of the different areas of SF is fantastic. This is not your usual SF tour. He...More

Financial District
The Financial District lies just east of Chinatown but
can seem a world apart given it’s San Francisco’s
version of Wall Street. The rush of business people
make up a hectic weekday and add to a frenetic pace of
life, but visitors who spend a few hours walking the
narrow streets will be rewarded with fine examples of
historic and contemporary architecture, including the
iconic Transamerica Pyramid. After business hours,

We would like to take this interesting "The Real SF Tour" after we get off the Celebrity Infinity cruise ship on Oct. 6, 2016. The ship will arrive SF 8:00 am and leave next day. Can anyone help us as to (1) do we have enough time to get to the meeting place (the intersection of Market and Drumm Streets) by 9:20 am from the cruise terminal? (2) by what transport mode: transit, street car or bus? (3) How much would it cost if by taxi? Thank you very much.

I would say yes you would have enough time to get there by the meeting time. I'll be honest, I used Uber the entire time in SF and it was always fairly inexpensive..at least way less expensive than using a taxi. If you're... More
If I am not staying in the city, where would I park to get to the beginning of the tour. I see that parking is difficult and not suggested.
