I love this playhouse! We are season subscribers and love everything about the San Francisco Playhouse. The current play is "Roommates" which was interesting, and very well acted. They always have amazing sets, and interesting plays (and one musical a year). Staff are friendly and...More

We are subscribers but we still didn't know what to expect with this play. There were some surprising twists with this play and we were talking about it long after it was over. The four of us (Millenials and Baby Boomers) enjoyed it immensely. A...More

I happened to see a sign for the theater on the last day I was in town and thought, "What the heck." What a great decision. Great play. Laughed and laughed! See it if you have a chance!!

Just saw the Playhouse's latest production Noises Off. A fun romp and revival of a front of the stage and back of the stage story. The theatre is in a lovely old hotel, really central to the city - so very close to lots of...More

Then look no further than the San Francisco Playhouse. Conveniently located near Union Square and many downtown hotels this small theatre is a jewel. We saw "Noises Off" - considered one of the best farces ever written. The laugh out loud Act II was worth...More

Zany portrayal of a wacky production. Whatever can go wrong will go wrong, and more. Get your tickets now. You won't be disappointed. Delightful!

Hilarious, original; anyone who works with people knows the drama behind the function of the work unit. Great acting with authentic British accents.

We had great seats at the back lower level near the aisle in the middle section.Think all seats would be pretty good. It's a small intimate theatre. Fantastic night.
