Elegant Shopping

A beautiful building with top end brands. This is the ultimate in shopping. If you can't afford the prices of the clothes you can still enjoy the elegant ambiance!

I went shopping at Nieman-Marcus. During the holiday season, they also have a very large wonderful Christmas tree that reaches up to the decorative ceiling. Its so beautiful.

An oasis in the chaos of Union Square. A beautiful foyer with soaring glassed dome. Displays lovely and spacious. Staff polite and welcoming without being pushy. It was lovely to browse the beautiful items they have for sale. Pricey. You may not buy but they were happy to let you try. Of particular note was the lovely, friendly sales lady... More

Do not go for the shopping. Must go to see the architecture. Doesn't take long but is worth the walk.

Neiman Marcus is in overpriced department store, not an attraction. Go into take a look at some of the interesting architecture and the ridiculous price tags.

Glamorous to some, over the top to others - a lovely old building but all I could feel was a lot of "beautiful" staff, perhaps more than shoppers looking bored amongst the glitz.

The rotunda is gorgeous, with a wonderful, historic skylight. There is a nice little cafe at the top of the rotunda, fun for a coffee or drink and maybe a snack. A nice stop if you're a fan of historic architecture, otherwise just another Nieman-Marcus.

This is a wonderful restaurant in Neiman Marcus on Union Square and we had lunch there, great meal with popovers and great wine! The service was wonderful and the view excellent. A must when visiting San Francisco

We dined in the Rotunda restaurant very nice atmosphere with a good view of the entire restaurant and the construction site conveniently located by the front door of Neiman Marcus as you walk in and see a armed guard. My wife and I are a typical couple where I hate to shop and my wife hates not to shop. However, this store near Union Square was very fancy and if shopping was always this elegant, I perhaps wouldn’t mind it. What I loved perhaps most is the fact the prices. The prices are so far out of our league... More
