A short walk through beautiful tall trees and as a distance you can see the Golden Gate Bridge. There is a path to walk on all around the park. Peaceful and on the ocean!

Love Lincoln Park. I you visit here you must go to "lookout point" for a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Without a doubt this is the best view of the bridge from any point in the San Francisco area. The photo ops here are...More

I just love this place. My recommendation if you're downtown: take the #5 (Fulton) trolley and get off at La Playa St & Cabrillo St. There's a Safeway, where you can purchase stuff for a picnic. Walk south across Fulton St. to get to Golden...More

More wild than manicured and planned park. The trail to lands end is a short hike with amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, China Beach, Bakers Beach, shipwrecks, cliffs, and the Marin Headlands. You'll likely encounter more locals than tourists.

We took the bus to Lincoln Park, so I'm not sure about what the parking guidelines near the museum are. The parking lot is relatively small; maybe 20 or so spaces? I'm looking back at the photos we took of the area mid-July... More
