I have been to this park several times for different reasons. The Legion of Honor is worth visiting, especially when special exhibits are on display that make a visit even more interesting. A bartender once referred to the golf course as "Stinkin Lincoln", a name...More

We quickly found ourselves in Lincoln Park after getting off the number 1 bus from Downtown at 32nd Avenue and Clement Street, now en route by foot to the Legion of Honor art museum for a Klimt/Rodin exhibition. The hilly, lush-green 100-acre-park spreads across the...More

While we didn't get to see a lot of this park, we did walk the trail that wound along close to the coast. It was awesome! There was one fantastic view after another. The trail wasn't too hard to walk and there were branch trails...More

This is a very special park with some nice sculptures and amazing views, while you walk around, though too often missed by tourists and locals.

Some truly amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge from this lovely and expansive park. We were too late to get into the Legion of Honor (I think they close at 5pm), but did do some unexpected bird watching (osprey & falcon or hawk). Will...More

Take a long bus ride on the #1 California. Get off at Clement and walk through the park to the Palace of the Legion of Honor. See the GG Bridge. Smell the plants. Can't be beat.

We took the bus to Lincoln Park, so I'm not sure about what the parking guidelines near the museum are. The parking lot is relatively small; maybe 20 or so spaces? I'm looking back at the photos we took of the area mid-July... More
