Take your own water and snacks, there is NOTHING from the Bridge along the waterfront. Totally lost opportunity for restaurants and bars. Ended up ubering back into the city.

We packed up some food and local craft beer, kicked of our shoes and flip flops and hung out on the beach for the afternoon - a little windy but bright and sunny, beautiful day! Lovely to see all the families, couples and folks with dogs playing and frolicking in the water. Would go back for sure but lots of... More

This was an unplanned walk as only there for the day. Although it was longer than first thought, you couldn't complain, the views were fantastic. A busy walkway, but chilled at the same time as everyone was taking in the relaxing atmosphere and views.

great views of the bay and bridge along the promenade, we rode bikes around but you can walk it and just chill too if you like as there is plenty of people watching to do or just chill by the bay!

Beautiful walking path along the bay, worth a stop and provides great vistas to take (and pose for) pictures.

This promenade ends at Fort Point, where you can get the best views of the Golden Gate bridge from below. It's very nice to walk along the water, see the ships in the harbour and have the Golden Gate Bridge ahead of you. There are many people jogging, biking or exercising outside, it's a good place to have a picnic... More

This is somewhat of a haven in a bustling city if the weather permits you could quite easily spend a whole day here taking the fabulous views in and go for lovely walks.

Very nice place to have a walk, to jog or to have a bike-tour. You can admire the bridge or Alcatraz Island

From the famous Lombard Street we walk with my wife and 7 y/o daughter. At slow pace, taking pictures, talking, resting, etc. Our main objective was The Palace of Fine Arts. Finally we arrived, and after an hour and a half, we resume our journey. Our next move was to walk heading to Fisherman... but I wanted to take some... More
