At the northwestern corner of San Francisco, there is a series of stunning views at every turn in this wild and windy trail. Hillsides of cypress and wildflowers, views of shipwrecks and access to the ruins of Sutro baths, a San Francisco specials memory.

It has lots of trails and access to the beach but remember what goes down must come back up. We were there looking for a Parakeet Auklet which had been spotted by several birders and is not common to the area.

great spot at the ocean. beautiful views, trails available. and its free! Very close to San Francisco...short drive. And you can spend at minimum a half hour, if you want to spend time at the beach or do trails you could stay half a day.

A must do if you're spending more than a couple days in San Francisco, though make sure you set aside at least half a day as you'll want to stop and take lots of pictures!
