This Cathedral is beautifully located at the top of Nob Hill and well worth a visit if you like this type of architecture. Very close to the Powell Street cable car line and downtown - or walking distance from Union Square if you are in...More

This cathedral is sitting on top of a hill. The architecture is amazing and reminded me of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Pairs. The stained glass inside is very beautiful too.

A wonderful Cathedral. A house of prayer for everyone. Not to be missed also are the many works of art, and windows and murals which tell the story of the early settlers, the 1906 earthquake and endeavours of many well known Americans.

those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be
rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful
architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated
with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all
were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that
