Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This park is so beautiful! Nice place for children, a good playground. Besides a baseball field that people can seat or play ball or freebies. Also a nice hike in the "canyons". Worth to visit!

Really unique and cool park. I wouldn’t come here with an out of town guest or if you are coming for a visit. It was a bit muddy and the terrain is challenging for those who have physical challenges.

This park is amazing. I've been in the SF Bay Area for years, and I just discovered it today.

Hiking trails are easy to follow and offer beautiful views. The park is a geologic goldmine. Beautiful wildflowers and huge rock outcroppings everywhere. And there's even a stream running through.

If you're interested in seeing FANTASTIC geologic examples of the Franciscan Melange, you'll find plenty here.

Tourists and locals alike should visit this beautiful urban park. Were it not for the amazing San Francisco views you'd forget you were in the middle of a crowded city.

This is a very versatile park - there are several levels of hiking difficulty along the many trail that run the length of the park, as well as soccer fields, tennis courts, and a service building with large, clean washrooms and a water fountain. Part of the new Crosstown Trail, this park is a wonderful place to get out in nature without leaving the city!

Well marked trail, very shady and cool. Beautiful waterfalls abound. Coastal redwoods and smaller trees. I didn't make it to the top, but had a lovely afternoon.

We were visiting my sister in the neighborhood and found ourselves walking at this park every day. The canyon paths are great! What a great place to get away from it all. The remodeled gym is beautiful. The teens enjoyed shooting hoops.

This is a moderately difficult but short trail through a rocky, lightly forested canyon. It's a great way to work up an appetite for the wonderful food to be found all around the park in San Francisco's many eateries.

Just about 15 minutes away by bart from powell station, this place is a beautiful getaway from bustling town, and there are lots of restaurants, cafes and markets here.

A pleasant park, especially the further up you go. This is not really a park that you would make a special trip to, but if you either live in the immediate area or staying in the immediate area then it is worth exploring. It was saved from Freeway development in the 1960s, and today it is a green oasis in the city.
