In my vacation with my mother the streets cars were an affordable and excellent choice. The drivers were very talkative and helped us guide ourselves through San Francisco. Some of them sang and some of them just made jokes. But its an experience that everyone...More

A Nice way to travel on selected routes. These old streetcars have been sourced from all around the world. Our trip was only spoilt by a particularly unhelpful, surly driver who would obviously rather be doing anything else, but don't let that put you off.

From my first ride to my last, I loved every second aboard these historic beauties! The F line runs from Fisherman's Wharf down Market Street terminating at the Castro. You can either buy a Muni Pass or pay per ride. I opted to pay each...More

I didn’t figure out how many exist but I realized they are super popular. It’s packed especially around the Fisherman’s Warf. Closer to South Beach Harbor it’s even possible to have a seat. These look awesome, like a sport version of Cable Cars / Tram....More

The iconic street cars of San Fransisco are definitely worth trying out! They are all different colours, collected from different places and brought to SF. We enjoyed our ride from outside the railway museum, along the Ebarcadero to Fisherman’s Wharf. Another tick in the box!

Inside the streetcar is like any other bus or subway but they are adorable to see! They run on cables and track and chime when they start up to go. It's wonderfully historic to ride!

We took the Street Cars multiple times while in SF to get up & down the Embarcadero. Keep your tickets as they last for several hours so chances are you can return on the same ticket which makes it super cheap! Some only take cash...More

Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the
city and is home to amazing architecture and views.
The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for
those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be
rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful
architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated
with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all
were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that

Greetings Mel A, The Street Cars are completely different from the Cable Cars and MUNI buses. Street cars will share routes with the buses but not at all with the Cable Cars. If you google San Francisco's Historic Rail Lines... More
