This small city park is located on Columbus Street at Union. This is a popular place to visit. We found locals and visitors alike lounging in the grass and people watching on the day we visited. Lots of neighborhood festivals are held here.

We passed by this park literally every day we were in SF and this place was always packed with activity no matter the time of day. It is in the heart of the action, despite not being all that big, no shortage of people filling...More

Not much going on here. Just a stop on ones way to Coit Tower maybe or the cathedral. Located in little Italy of course.

We happened to walk by the park on our way to Telegraph Hill. There was a group of (presumably) Chinese ladies practicing an exercise/dance with large fans which they snapped open and closed with precision. Cool!

North Beach / Telegraph Hill
The aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans, the sounds
of opera, and the sights of the romantic Italian
ristorante come together to create the charming
neighbourhood of North Beach, once the stomping
grounds for the Beatnik Generation. Although parts of
North Beach are known for nightlife that’s not always
suitable for younger visitors, few neighbourhoods in
the city exude as much European charm and style.

Yes, there's street parking, which might be difficult depending on timing, and there is also a nearby parking garage.
