It was under renovation when we're were there. But the whole view and the changing so quickly of view and cloud and bay was magical. It is definitely a must if you visit sanfrancisco

Our tour guide was able to park and let us out to take spectacular pix from about half way up the bridge height. I became uncomfortable with no railing, the height and the winds, but my husband took some awesome pix from the lookout area.
Golden Gate Bridge is a must see of San Fran. Have to take pictures. Try to visit here on as clear a day as possible as the mist/fog can mean that almost the whole of the bridge is not visible.
You can't go to San Fran & not cross the Golden Gate. Take the day to hire push bikes & ride through the parks and across the bridge down to Sausalito where you can find some lunch before catching the ferry back across to Fishermans...More
