The fog, the sheer scale of the bridge with helicopters flying under it is amazing. Even with the bikes buzzing by you there is time to pause and take in the loneliness. We were able to park for free and do the walk across.

Darn it; it's not golden! And don't go there expecting the Eiffel Tower - that's in some other city. Walk across it, though; that's pretty cool.

Hi fabsies View is different but awesome from all sides but from the start and centre of bridge ..if you go by some distance ahead..you can yourself figure out the view as you could see the location but it's too foggy in... More

If you download the Muni app you can see the routes that go there. We were also in Union square and there was a bus directly from near there to the bridge. We also got the Visitor Pass and travelled on cable cars and buses... More
