You do not need to be a boat owner or history buff to appreciate the collection of craft assembled in this outdoor museum. Absolutely fascinating.

A very enjoyable display of a part of California history. Educational, interesting, relaxing and a welcomed break away from the commercialism, crowds and insanity of the near by Fisherman's Wharf.

There are some wonderful exibits at the maritime museum including a sailing ship, paddle steamer and steam boat and it is well worth a visit. You can go on the ships and visit many other interesting historical exibits.

The museum in the visitor center is excellent. It goes into the history of the Bay and does a great job of covering it. Great movie sets the stage. The Park also includes ships at the dock across the street and a maritime building, but...More

I was really excited to see the park but found that it was not really worth the money. If you already have a National Park Pass it's worth a look if you're really into shipping history

There is Free parking in the wharf area. It goes really quickly though. I was able to park at Boudin Bakery and Cafe. We ate lunch and walked the rest of the Wharf to the museum and looked at the boats. If it is full, you... More
