We love the restaurant and shopping choices here. It is also fun just to browse. Bookshops, restaurants like the Slanted Door, caviar shoppes, wine, meat and fish and so much more. Well worth the visit.

This place is great and a must-see when visiting San Francisco. The ferry building has been re-purposed to house a network of cute indoor stalls, shops and restaurants. You can find everything from fresh flowers to oysters, and from great cheeses and deli items to tasty, salted pig parts! We came here to have fantastically fresh oysters at the Hog... More

The first day I had the french toast with pecans on them and absolutely delicious. The next day I had the Eggs Benedict. Both breakfasts were absolutely delicious and since it was right across the street from my hotel was so much better than room service. Waitstaff were excellent and I ate outside one day and inside the other. Both... More

I've visited the ferry building marketplace hundreds of time and still enjoy the ambience and selection of food. Serve Blue Bottle coffee, some good organic food. Nice book shop and a great place to hang out ahead of catching a ferry.

A must go for those who wants to grab some good and fresh local produce. Breakfast served is very hearty and wholesome. Ate a pulled pork sandwich, super yums! Coffee Qs are very long so be prepared to wait for the caffeine. Oysters looked really fresh but not brave to take for breakfast unless you have a strong stomach. Drivers... More

We went here on a Saturday when there is a whole outdoor street market and farmers market going on- we found some really cool organic/gourmet treats to take home and some good food as well. Definitely worth a few hours to go walk around and explore!

I walked all the way from Nob Hill down to the ferry building and it was a great walk. I was hungry when I got there and walk through the whole building. There were many places to eat but because it was a Saturday they all had lines. I ended up heading outside to the farmers market and eating at... More

There is something for everyone. Wish I had even more time to explore all the various food and drink options available here, which means I must return. We managed to sample quite a few. Only downside is you have to maneuver through the crowds but it is part of the experience and vibe. And don't forget to take in the... More

Stumbled on this place by accident, much less advertised than Fisherman's Wharf and more of a local's hangout. Super cafes, bars and eateries, interspersed with great little stalls and places to purchase artisan foods and wine etc. Very impressed!
