We were here on Thanksgiving weekend. The open market was great with so many wonderful goodies. Most items are artisanal. Highly recommend. This is also a great place to stop after the ferry ride from Sausalito.

We ordered a plate of lime and mango. The ice cream tasted overwhelmingly of Passionfruit - including the seeds! I could not detect Mango or Lime. I pointed this out to the waiter and the cashier but they totally dissed me. Not only is this...More

While the ferry building and surrounding area is an interesting place to visit, the Marketplace is in my opinion, more of a tourist-centric attraction that locals rarely go to. Lots of vendors with over-priced products that are not really unique and can be purchased elsewhere...More

I recommend you park & walk or take the cable car for ease to Ferry Building. Trying to park close will be hectic & expensive.

Check with the cruise line's concierge, they will usually hold your bags for a short time - much as a hotel would. you will disembark equally close to Fisherman's Terminal (Pier 39, sea lions, gift shops, great views of... More
